Brian Starr
Brian Starr has 9 years of experience in the retirement
services industry and holds the designation of Certified
Pension Consultant (CPC) from the American Society of
Pension Professionals and Actuaries. He holds an M.B.A
from the University of Texas at Austin and is pursuing a
Ph.D. in Economics from Texas Tech University. His
retirement industry experience is primarily in the field
of defined contribution plans and he has assisted plan
sponsors with design, administration and investing of
plan assets. Brian resides in Lubbock with his wife and
three children and serves on the faculty of the business
department at Lubbock Christian University.

John McGlothlin
John McGlothlin has been in the retirement financial
services field since 1974. He is a graduate of The
University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Math and a
PhD in Computer Science. He is an Enrolled Actuary, a
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Member of the
American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.
John founded Plan Data, Inc. in 1980 as a regional third
party administration firm which was serving more than
1,500 plan sponsor-clients when he sold the firm in 2000
to Invesmart, Inc. John has served as a lecturer at The
University of Texas at Austin, St. Edwards University
and the Extension School of The University of Texas at
Austin. |
